How Curator Communicates & The Rules We Set

An asymmetric local bubble. Not every endpoint has equal authority to prevent cross-house chaos, yet command hubs retain full control.

RULE 01 // ROOT ROUTER

Master Hub Authority

Acts as the central access point and network router. The 7.0" Master Hub can broadcast to ALL ROOMS simultaneously or direct private voice packets to any single room node.

Privileged Command Nodes

The Office, Garage, and Master Bedroom are granted elevated communication privileges. They can bypass standard lockouts to initiate direct lateral communication with the hub or specific zones.

RULE 03 // CHILD PRIVACY

Standard Room Lockdown

Standard room nodes (e.g. Kids' Rooms) are restricted to Hub-Only telemetry. They cannot talk directly to other bedrooms, preventing accidental eavesdropping or cross-house hijacking.

Who is Norman?

Norman is the physical embodiment of Big Tech cloud surveillance. In his soggy trench coat, wire-rimmed glasses, and clutching a reel-to-reel tape recorder, Norman is the guy who has to catch your private kitchen conversation, hail a cab, board a commercial flight, and hand-deliver it to an overseas server farm just to tell your kid down the hall that dinner is ready.

How many rooms can connect to one Master Hub?

A single 7.0" Master Hub supports up to 16 linked stations (Room Nodes, Office Nodes, and Range Anchors) concurrently.

Does Curator connect to my home Wi-Fi router?

No. The Master Hub establishes its own isolated local radio bubble strictly between the hub and nodes. It does not require your Wi-Fi password, will not touch your router, and has zero connection to the outside internet.

Can other rooms eavesdrop on each other?

No. Standard room nodes operate under strict asymmetric routing rules. They can only listen to hub broadcasts and reply directly to the hub. Only privileged units (Office, Garage, Master) can engage in direct lateral conversations.

Where is my voice data stored?

Nowhere. Audio streams reside temporarily in volatile RAM only while transmitting and are wiped the microsecond the stream finishes. There is zero disk caching, no hard drive, and no cloud log.
